To ensure that our online spaces are safe, culturally respectful, and trustworthy, please follow these guidelines when sharing photos, videos, or other media related to NZEQ Rangatiratanga Facilitations.


1. Family- and Community-Friendly Content

  • All posted content should be respectful, inclusive, and safe for all learners.
  • Do not post content that is vulgar, offensive, obscene, illegal, or discriminatory.
  • Participants under 13 should not post media without a parent or guardian’s guidance.

2. Originality & Privacy

  • Only post content you have created or have permission to use.
  • Respect copyright, trademarks, and other legal rights.
  • Always secure permission to include identifiable individuals in your media.
  • Avoid sharing private or sensitive information about others without consent.

3. Relevance

  • Media should be directly related to NZEQ activities, including:
    • Rangatiratanga facilitation sessions
    • Learning pathways, workshops, or cultural experiences
    • Community projects, performances, or initiatives

4. Non-Commercial

  • Media should be educational or informational.
  • Logos, names, or contacts may be included sparingly, but content must not serve as advertising, promotional offers, or commercial deals.

5. Media Quality

  • Ensure videos and images are clear, well-lit, and properly oriented.
  • Maximum video size: 500 MB.
  • Accepted video formats: .mp4, .m4v, .mov.

6. Responsibility & Rights

  • By sharing content, you certify its truthfulness and accuracy.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your media complies with these guidelines.
  • NZEQ reserves the right to remove content that does not meet these standards.
  • You grant NZEQ a non-exclusive license to use your media for educational, promotional, or community purposes.

7. Cultural & Educational Integrity

  • Content should uphold the values of Te Ao Māori, including respect for tikanga, wāhi tapu, and community wellbeing.
  • Media should reinforce learning, personal development, and emotional intelligence (EQ) outcomes.
